Forest Pines Hotel, Golf Course & Spa - storeys:ssp purchased this 4* hotel which is set in 190 acres of mature woodland close to Junction 4 of the M180. The hotel has 118 bedrooms with a leisure club and spa, 18m swimming pool and 27 holes of championship golf. The hotel was acquired for £20m.
 The Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld - again storeys:ssp purchased this hotel on behalf of a client for a price of £15m. The Westerwood is a 4* hotel with golf and lesure club set in 400 acres right in the centre of Scotland between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The hotel has 100 bedrooms including 8 suites, an award winning restaurant, 18 hole golf course nad leisure club.

Apex Hotels Raise Circa £54m for expansion
Apex Hotels Limited announces the sale and leaseback of two of their Edinburgh hotels through Northern Ireland property investment company W G Mitchell.
W G Mitchell has paid circa £54 million for the two properties, Apex International and Apex City, both on Edinburgh’s Grassmarket. Apex has leased both buildings back and they will continue to successfully trade, as usual.
The deal allows Apex Hotels to release funds to finance their planned expansion programme and the group are actively pursuing sites for hotel development throughout the UK.
